The highest point on every continent. Seven mountains across seven years. This is our journey from Kilimanjaro to Everest.
It started with a view from a safari lodge in Kenya. In 2017, we spotted Kilimanjaro's snow-capped silhouette floating above the haze and made a quiet promise to each other: next year, we would be on that summit. We had no idea that single promise would turn into a seven-year odyssey spanning every continent on Earth.
After Kilimanjaro came Aconcagua in the Argentine Andes, then Elbrus in Russia's Caucasus mountains, all within thirteen months. The pandemic paused everything. We picked back up with Vinson in Antarctica and Denali in Alaska, back to back in 2022. Carstensz Pyramid in Papua finally opened after years of closure. And then came Everest, the mountain that started as an impossible dream and ended with us standing at 8,849 meters in a whiteout.
